KRYNICA MORSKA

  • Beautifully situated at the Vistula Lagoon – the town is almost surrounded with water - from the North- by the Baltic Sea; from the South - the Vistula Spit.
  • Summer in the Vistula Lagoon is long and warm; it lasts 80-90 days. This is the warmest part of the Polish seaside region in the summer. The good insolation of the Vistula Lagoon results from a particulary efficient sunbeam reflections against the water surface and the bright green area along the shore. The number of sunny days exceeds that of Western Pomeranian Region or the Mazurian Lake District.
  • This area is covered beautiful dense woods with variety of species of animals and plants. A natural sanctuary ” Beeches of th Vistula Spit” protects the natural habitat of 150 - years- old beeches.
  • Unique natural phenomena: – the biggest cormorant and grey heron sanctuary in Europe, protecting the birds’ breeding sites – Kąty Rybackie – the “Mewia Lacha” sanctuary, created for the tern breeding protection – Mikoszewo
    • Easy access to the main Polish motorways, i.e. No 22, Elbląg-Kaliningrad, and No 7, Gdańsk-Warsaw.
    • Easy acess to the Tricity ring road, southward leading A1 highway and to motorway No 6 -westward road to Szczecin.
    • Convenient connections for foreign visitors thanks to the Gdańsk airport in Rębiechowo as well as ferries between the Tricity and the Swedish cities of Stockholm and Karlskrona.
    • Well-developed tourist services, accommodation and restaurants.
